WELCOME to the Cerritos Library Teen Studio website!
The City of Cerritos has dedicated the Teen Studio as a place where teens can participate in activities that
encourage their educational, creative and personal development.
The Spring 2015 Volunteen Session will run: 1/12/15 - 6/6/15

Join the VolunteensTypical volunteen duties include assisting with craft projects for story times, and shelving books. To qualify, volunteens must follow directions well, have knowledge of alphabetical and numeric order and be able to work independently and with others. If you want to develop work skills for future employment, learn more about your library and spend leisure time in a way that is helpful to others pickup a registration form at the Circulation Desk. Volunteens must be in grades 9-12 and have a Cerritos library card. Pick up a form at the Circulation Desk.

The YCCC Exhibit is now on display in the Craftsman Area of the Library.
YCCC ExhibitYouth Capture the Colorful Cosmos is funded by the Smithsonian Institution’s Youth Access Grants program managed by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Education and Access. The project is led by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, in partnership with Smithsonian Affiliations.
imageThe Teen Studio is open seven days a week for drop-in use by teens. Cerritos Library has also developed special programs for the Teen Studio which focus on education and college preparation.
